Pointers stay hot in WIAC

Top ranked UW-Stevens Point stayed hot last night, rolling to a 77-43 win over UW-Eau Claire. 

Pete Rortvedt scored 18 points to lead the Pointers (13-1, 7-0) to its 11th straight win.  The Pointers are the first team to start 7-0 in WIAC play since UW-Platteville did it in 1998-99.

Elsewhere in state college action, UW River Falls (7-8, 2-4) beat visiting Stout (9-6, 2-4) 76-62.  UW-La Crosse (10-4, 5-1) knocked off UW-Oshkosh (12-3, 4-2) 48-47. 

Elmhurst beat Carthage 72-62 and Edgewood downed Concordia 70-54.
