Milwaukee Bucks guard Michael Redd was named the NBA's Eastern Conference Player of the Week for the games played December 25 through January 1. Redd averaged 27.0 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.0 assists in 38.3 minutes per game to help lead the Bucks to a 3-1 record for the week.
Redd scored a game-high 36 points, 7 rebounds, two assists and two steals in the Bucks 114-107 win on the road against the Spurs on December 26, snapping a four-game losing streak at San Antonio.
The Bucks followed-up their win in San Antonio with a 112-96 win at Memphis on Dec. 27. Redd shared scoring honors with 20 points in that win.
The Bucks also closed out the week with a loss at Cleveland and a win at home against Washington. He's led the Bucks to wins in 7 of their last 8 games. The Bucks play at Washington against the Wizards tonight.
