Search renewed for woman missing 18 years

January 9, 2007 By WRN Contributor

The Manitowoc County Sheriff's Department is involved in the renewed search for a woman missing since October of 1988. Sheriff Rob Hermmann said Cheryl Spaeth, who also used the name Chery Duvall, is listed on an Internet site, by the National Center for Missing Adults .

Herman said a family member requested his department investigate Spaeth's disappearance, and did not rule out the the possibility of foul play. Herman also said his department has obtained warrants to search two properties in the county (in the towns of Manitowoc Rapids and Cato), and that deputies are using cadaver sniffing dogs in the search for Spaeth, who was aged 38 when last seen.
