Tucker shares Big Ten honors

January 29, 2007 By WRN Contributor

University of Wisconsin senior forward Alando Tucker was named the Big Ten's co-player of the week this week.  He's joined by Ohio State's freshman big man Greg Oden.

Tucker averaged 25.1 points a game in wins over Michigan and Iowa this week.  He hit 17 of 23 from the field overall, good for nearly 74%.

It's the second player of the week honor for Tucker from the Big Ten this season.  He ranks 2nd in the Big Ten Conference in scoring at 19.6 points per game.
