UW football and hockey tickets could cost more

January 23, 2007 By WRN Contributor

Kohl Center University of Wisconsin Athletic officials could consider an increase in the cost of season tickets for football and men's hockey in the 2007-08 school year.

According to the Wisconsin State Journal , season ticket prices last increased for Badger football in 2005 when the price went up to $35.

The last time general public season tickets for men's hockey games was in 2004-05 when they increased to $18.

Single-game tickets for football and hockey increased to $42 and $22 for the 2005-06 season.

The school raised season ticket prices for men's basketball for this season and introduced premium courtside seating as well, making it unlikely that basketball ticket prices would rise again.
