Victims identified in Rock County triple homicide

January 13, 2007 By WRN Contributor

Officials in Rock County say a mother and her two teenage children were the victims of a triple homicide near Janesville. The bodies of 38-year-old Danyetta Lentz, her 17-year-old daughter Nicole, and 14-year-old son Scott were found Friday morning in their mobile home.

Rock County Sheriff Bob Spoden says it's the worst homicide he's seen in his 20 years of law enforcement. Spoden says the department will be focusing a great deal of its resources on solving the murders.

Autopsies will be conducted Saturday morning in Madison. Police have not released how the three were killed and no suspects have been named at this time.
