A Super Sunday for UW Milwaukee student

February 5, 2007 By WRN Contributor

If you were like most people you were watching Superbowl for more than just the game. Every year, the commercials are a big part of Super Bowl Sunday, and this year, one of them was created by a UW-Milwaukee freshman. Katie Crabb's idea for Cheverolet aired in the beginning of the second quarter. The ad showed guys obsessing over their Chevy's so much, that they actually create car washes just to touch their vehicle. Crabb beat out 800 other registrants. And of the five finalists, she was the only one without a partner. The 19-year-old pitched her idea to Chevy as part of their college ad challenge, and her class project.
