Badger men climb, Lady Phoenix fall in polls

February 13, 2007 By WRN Contributor

The Wisconsin men's basketball team climbed one-spot to 3rd in this week's Associated Press Top 25 College Basketball Poll.  UCLA's weekend loss allowed the Badgers to move up.

Marquette dropped one spot after falling to Georgetown last weekend.  The Golden Eagles from from 11th to 12th.

On the women's side, The UW-Green Bay Phoenix women held down the #24 spot last week and are riding a 16-game win streak.  In spite of all that, the Phoenix women fell out of the poll this week.

The Marquette women put an end to a 2-game losing streak.  The Golden Eagles come in at #21 this week.
