Badgers start slow, finish strong to beat Gophers

February 15, 2007 By WRN Contributor

Alando Tucker The 3rd ranked Wisconsin Badger men's basketball team shot just 29% from the field in the first half.  But they survived and went on to beat the Minnesota Golden Gophers 75-62 in Minneapolis, its fourth straight victory.

Alando Tucker poured in 29 to lead the Badgers (25-2, 11-1 Big Ten).  Kammron Taylor had 12 points and Michael Flowers added 11.

Minnesota fell to 9-17 and 3-9.

The Badgers remain tied with Ohio State for the Big Ten lead.  They'll host Penn State Saturday at the Kohl Center.
