Badgers win school record 26th

February 19, 2007 By WRN Contributor

The 3rd ranked Wisconsin Badgers won their 26th game of the season on Saturday, rolling past Penn State 75-49 in Madison.

Alando Tucker started slow, hitting just 1 of 6 from the field in the first half.  But Tucker picked up the pace in the second half, finishing with 22 points.

The Badgers improved to 26-2 and 12-1 in the Big Ten.  They'll play road games at Michigan State Tuesday night (2/20) and at Ohio State on Sunday (2/25).

Wisconsin could move up in the polls when they're released later today.  Top ranked Florida lost over the weekend, which means Ohio State will likely take over the top spot in the polls and the Badgers could move into the #2 spot.
