Joudrey, Elliot win WCHA honors

Wisconsin hockey seniors Andrew Joudrey and Brian Elliott both received weekly WCHA honors this week.

Joudrey was named the WCHA's Offensive Player of the Week while Elliott was named the league's Defensive Player of the Week.

Joudrey, who scored three goals and fired eight shots on goal while leading the Badgers to a win and a tie against No. 4 ranked St. Cloud State last weekend. 

Elliott stopped 46 of 49 shots on goal, posting four shutout periods and helped hold the Huskies to just one power-play goal in 11 man-advantage opportunities in the series.
