Marquette wins 8th straight in Big East

The Marquette Golden Eagles ran their Big East win streak to 8 straight games, beating Rutgers 67-47 at the Bradley Center.

Five Golden Eagles players scored in double figures, led by Ousmane Barro's 11 points and 11 rebounds. 

Wesley Matthews, Jerel McNeal, Dan Fitzgerald and David Cubillan all finished with 11 points for Marquette (21-4, 8-2). 

Marquis Webb scored 12 points for the Scarlet Knights (9-15, 2-9). 

Marquette travels to Georgetown on Saturday.
