UW-Green Bay's struggles continue

February 2, 2007 By WRN Contributor

The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay men's basketball team did just about all it could to overcome a 15-point second-half deficit at Detroit Thursday evening, but in the end the Phoenix had no answer for Brandon Cotton.  The Titans junior guard scored a career-high 31 points to lead the Titans to a 76-72 win.

Mike Schachtner led UW-Green Bay (12-11, 4-6 Horizon League) with 21 points while Ryan Tillema added a season-high 18.

UW-Green Bay returns to action at 4:30 p.m. when it travels to Cleveland State.
