UW's Anderson tabbed women's Player of the Week

February 12, 2007 By WRN Contributor

Wisconsin junior guard Jolene Anderson is the Big Ten's Player of the Week this week.  It's the second honor of the season for Anderson, who also received the award back on December 18th.

Anderson helped the Badgers move into sole possession of fourth place in the Big Ten Conference standings by scoring 20 and 29 points in wins over Indiana and Iowa last week.

Anderson and the Badgers travel to Ohio State to face the Buckeyes on thursday before returning to the Kohl Center to host Purdue next Sunday.
