Badger Women's Hockey skates in Frozen Four

March 16, 2007 By WRN Contributor

The Wisconsin Women's Hockey team takes on St. Lawrence this afternoon in the semifinals of the Frozen Four in Lake Placid.  The Badgers knocked off Harvard in four overtimes last weekend to earn the trip to Lake Placid.

27 years ago, Badger Coach Mark Johnson played in Lake Placid as a member of the 1980 "Miracle on Ice gold" medal team.

The Badgers are trying to repeat as National Champion.  The puck drops at 4pm this afternoon.

Listen/Download – Badger Head Coach Mark Johnson says the games are harder to win this time of year. :18
