Badger women's hockey to host Harvard in NCAA quarterfinal

March 5, 2007 By WRN Contributor

The top ranked Wisconsin women's hockey team will play host to Harvard at 7pm on March 10 in an NCAA quarterfinal at the Kohl Center.

The Badgers (33-1-4), who won the WCHA playoff title earlier on Sunday and earned the top seed in the NCAA Tournament, will host a quarterfinal for the second straight season.  This will be the first NCAA women's hockey tournament game to be played at the Kohl Center.

Harvard (23-7-2) gained an at-large bid after finishing tied in the ECACHL.

The NCAA tournament is an eight seed single-elimination tournament.  Only the top four teams are seeded.
