Free Agency Begins

March 2, 2007 By WRN Contributor

NFL teams could offically sign free agents begininng late last night.  One guy the Packers hoped to get a deal done with was veteran running back Ahman Green.  With no deal in place, Green is now a free agent and able to sign with any team he chooses. The Packers still hope to bring Green back, but now will have to compete with other interested teams around the league.  Green Bay also wants to bring back often-injured tight end David Martin.  He is drawing interest from a number of teams around the NFL.
