Goodbye Joe, don't let the door…….

March 26, 2007 By WRN Contributor

ESPN has announced a change in their Monday Night Football broadcast booth for next season.  According to ESPN.com , Joe Theismann is out and Ron Jaworski is in.

Jaworski will join Mike Tirico and Tony Kornheiser on the ESPN telecast.  The report says Theismann has been offered a prominent football analyst job with the network.

I'm not sure what Theismann's big opportunity is, but I'm glad he's off of my TV on Monday night's this season.  Is there anybody more annoying?  Joe must have thought he was being paid by the word because he never quit.  Some may have liked his work, but he drove me crazy.

Will Ron Jaworski be any better?  That remains to be seen.  But one thing is now certain, Jaworski is on the clock.
