Packers running back Ahman Green has agreed to a four-year, $23-million deal with the Houston Texans. He's expected to sign the deal today and hold an afternoon news conference in Houston.
Green is expected to become a starter in Houston after rushing for 1,059 yards for the Packers last season. He was returning from a torn right quadriceps injury in 2005.
With Green's departure, the Packers will likely be shopping for running back help in free agency, as well as setting their sites on a running back in the upcoming draft.
