Henderson expected to be out in Green Bay

March 7, 2007 By WRN Contributor

Longtime veteran fullback William Henderson told WBAY-TV in Green Bay, where he hosts a Monday night show during the season, that he was told he would be cut by the Packers .

The team still had Henderson on its roster as of this morning.

The Packers are however already interviewing possible replacements for both Henderson and Ahman Green, who signed a free agent contract with Houston this week.

The Packers are reportedly meeting this week with Atlanta fullback Justin Griffith and the Green Bay Press Gazette says the Packers have also been in contact with halfback Chris Brown who lost his starting job with Tennessee last season.
