Lady Badgers to play in WNIT Championship

Jolene Anderson scored 26 points and Janese Banks added 23 as the Wisconsin Badgers knocked off Western Kentucky 79-72 at the Kohl Center to advance to the WNIT Championship game.

The Badgers (23-12) will face the Lady Cowboys in Wyoming on Saturday.

Wisconsin hit all 20 of their free throws last night and will shoot for their 2nd WNIT Championship on Saturday.  Wisconsin won it in 2000 and finished runnerup in 1999.

Crystal Kelly scored 28 points to lead the Lady Hilltoppers (23-9) in the loss.
