McNeal Out for NCAA Opener

Marquette Coach Tom Crean confirmed Tuesday that guard Jerel McNeal will miss Marquette's NCAA opener with Michigan State.  His status for any games after that is still unclear.

McNeal injured his right thumb on March 2 nd and has been out of action since. 

Marquette and Michigan State tip-off at 6:20 Thursday evening in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
