March 12, 2007 By WRN Contributor

Senior Nicole Soulis poured in 21 points and Amanda Popp (Pope) added 18 as #22 Wisconsin-Green Bay rolled over Butler 91-64 to win the Horizon League Tournament Championship.

The win gives the Phoenix the Horizon League's automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament.  Green Bay is headed for the post season for the 8th time in the last 10 years.

The Bulldogs have now lost 22 straight games to the Phoenix dating back to 1999.

Soulis scored 16 of her 21 in the first half and was named the tournament's MVP.

The Phoenix will find out this evening (Monday) who they'll play and where in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament later this week.
