UW-Green Bay To Enshrine Three1

March 23, 2007 By WRN Contributor

The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay announced that three people will be inducted into it's Athletic Hall of Fame in May.  Former men's basketball players Tony Bennett and Ben Johnson, and former women's coach Carol Hammerle will be the class of 2007.  Bennett and Johnson played key roles in the Phoenix rise in the early 1990s.  Bennett was a 2nd round draft pick by the Charlotte Hornets and is the current head coach at Washington State.  Hammerle was the first women's coach in school history.
