Bucks drop 7th straight

April 4, 2007 By WRN Contributor

With the New Orleans Hornets in the middle of the NBA playoff chase, they rolled to a 119-101 win over the Milwaukee Bucks in a makeup at the Bradley Center.

David West scored 24 points and Tyson Chandler added 18 points and 20 rebounds to lead the Hornets.

The Bucks (25-48) got 27 from Michael Redd, but still lost their 7th straight, matching their longest losing streak of the season.

Free throw shooting was a big difference.  The Hornets hit 26 of 31, compared to just 10 of 14 for the Bucks.  The Hornets also dominated the points in the paint, outscoring the Bucks 56-34 and outrebounding them 47-25.

The Bucks have 9-games left in their season, starting with a home game tonight against Boston at the Bradley Center.
