Bullpen blows late inning lead for Brewers

April 18, 2007 By WRN Contributor

Ryan Freel had four hits and the Cincinnati Reds scored 7-runs over their final two at-bats to come from behind and beat the Milwaukee Brewers 11-5 last night in Cincinnati.

Dave Bush worked 5-innings and doubled in a pair of runs, leaving with a chance to win, but the bullpen, which has been solid so far this season, couldn't hang on this time.  Brian Shouse took the loss as the Brewers finished 4-3 on their abbreviated 7-game road trip.  They're back home to open a 2-game series against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
