Capellan wants a trade

The agent for pitcher Jose Capellan, Bill Rego, contacted Brewers general manager Doug Melvin on Monday and requested his client be traded.

Capellan made 61 relief appearances for the Brewers last season, going 4-2 with a 4.40 ERA, but lost a battle for a bullpen spot this spring and was sent to the minors.

Capellan doesn't believe there's a future for him in the Brewers organization.
