Crean's name continues to come up in Kentucky coaching search

April 6, 2007 By WRN Contributor

When Billy Donovan announced that he was staying at Florida, the rumors started to fly again, with regards to the Kentucky coaching vacancy.  Texas A & M's Billy Donovan appears to be the front runner, but Crean's name has come up before as a possible candidate and it appears to be the case again.

According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel , Crean has already turned down a long term deal at Arkansas that would have made him the highest paid coach in all of college basketball.

Kentucky has been without a head coach since March 23, when Tubby Smith resigned to take the head coaching job at Minnesota.
