James Enters NBA Draft

April 27, 2007 By WRN Contributor

Marquette's Dominic James made it official on Thursday by announcing he's going to enter the NBA Draft.  The 5'11 sophomore aveaged 14.9 points and 4.9 assists last season at Marquette.  James did not hire an agent so he has until mid-June to withdraw from the draft.  James said the lack of point guards in this year's draft crop was a big factor in declaring.  Ohio State's Mike Conley, Junior and Texas A&M star Acie Law are the top two point guards available this year.  James will get a taste of the what's out there at the NBA Pre-Draft Camp in late may.
