Manty's Free still waits

April 28, 2007 By WRN Contributor

Manitowoc native Doug Free continues to wait for the phone to ring.  The former Northern Illinois offensive tackle is projected to be selected anywhere from the 2nd to the 4th round of this weekend's draft.  Free will be the 2nd ever player drafted into the NFL from the city of Manitowoc.  The Packers drafted Wiscosin defensive lineman Don Davey in the 3rd round selection back in 1991.

–Wade Bates reporting from the Packer Draft Headquarters in Green Bay
