Packers Get Ready For Draft

April 27, 2007 By WRN Contributor

The Green Bay Packers are gearing up for this weekend's NFL Draft.  GM Ted Thompson will have 9 picks to play with this year, including the 16th overall selection in the 1st round.  Cal running back Marshawn Lynch is pegged for Green Bay in many mock drafts, but defensive back, defensive lineman, and wide receiver could also be considered.  Thompson says that at this point he thinks the Packers will use the 16th pick and not trade it.
