Packers Go O-Line in Round 4

April 29, 2007 By WRN Contributor

The Green Bay Packers selected offensive lineman Allen Barbre with their 4th round draft pick on Sunday.  Barbre played at Division II Missouri Southern State.  He's 6'4 and weighs 304 pounds.  This guy is very athletic as he covered punts and also scored a touchdown on a four yard TD run during his senior year.  He ran a 4.8 40 yard dash. The Packers plan on working him at tackle and guard on both sides of the line, but see him as a left tackle.

NFL players James Thrash and Rod Smith played at the same school as Barbre.
