Packers Take RB in 2nd Round

April 28, 2007 By WRN Contributor

With their 2nd round pick (63rd overall) aquired from the Jets, the Green Bay Packers have selected running back Brandon Jackson from Nebraska.  He stands 5'9 and weighs 210 pounds.  He's called a compact back  with thick thighs and calves.  The scouting report says he makes quick decisions and is good at finding the cutback lane.  He ran for 989 yards on 188 carries and scored 8 touchdowns.  He also caught 33 passes 313 yards and two TDs.  He ran a 4.55 forty yard dash.
