D3 World Series Starts Today In Appleton

The NCAA Division Three World Series starts today in at Fox Cities Stadium in Appleton.  8 teams are taking part in the double elimination tournament over the next five days.  UW-Stevens Point and Carthage College have both qualified to play for the national title in their home state.  Pointer head coach Pat Bloom thinks playing so close to home gives his team an advantage.  The DIII World Series runs through Tuesday.
