Two State Teams In DIII World Series

Both UW-Stevens Point and Carthage College qualified for the NCAA Division Three World Series with Regional Championships this past weekend.  UW-Stevens Point advanced to their 2nd straight national title round by beating UW-Oshkosh in Wisconsin Rapids.  Carthage takes a 19 game winning streak into the World Series which starts next Friday at Fox Cities Stadium in Appleton.  The Pointers will play Emory at 10:15am in the first round while Carthage will play Eastern Conectiicut State at 1:15pm on Friday in the first round.
