UW Volleyball to make overseas trip

Badger Volleyball The University of Wisconsin volleyball team will play five matches and visit five different countries as part of its 13-day foreign trip.  The Badgers will visit the Czech Republic, Austria, Slovenia, Croatia and Italy from May 30-June12. 

The UW will take all 13 returning players on the trip.  NCAA rules prohibit incoming freshmen from joining the team.

The Badgers will play five matches on the trip, including two matches against the Italian Junior National team.  The UW will also play KP Brno, a first-division team in the Czech Republic leagues.

The Badgers will begin practicing for the trip on May 21.
