Badger Bob to be Inducted into Colorado Springs Hall of Fame

June 19, 2007 By WRN Contributor

Former Badger hockey legend, Bob Johnson, will be inducted into the Colorado Springs Hall of Fame October 24, 2007.

Johnson, who passed away in 1991, guided the Wisconsin hockey team to three NCAA titles during his 15 year tenure from 1966 to 1982.  Johnson led the Badgers to NCAA titles in 1973, 1977 and 1981 and recorded a career winning percentage of .670.  Johnson, the father of former Badger hockey player and current women's hockey coach Mark Johnson, will join four other individuals and one team in the 2007 class of inductees.
