Badger track athletes compete in USA Championships

Fifteen current and former members of the University of Wisconsin men's and women's track and field teams will compete in the 2007 USA Outdoor Championships in Indianapolis this weekend. 

The Badger men send 10 athletes to the meet, while five current and former Badger women are in the field.

The outdoor championships will serve as the selection meet for the NACAC Championships (July 13-15) in El Salvador, the Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (July 22-29), the IAAF World Championships (Aug. 25 to Sept. 2) in Osaka, Japan, the USA vs. Germany Decathlon & Heptathlon (Aug. 18-19) and the USA vs Africa event with a date still to be determined.
