Bullfrogs NWL win streak ends at 15 games

June 26, 2007 By WRN Contributor

The expansion Green Bay Bullfrogs record 15-game win streak is over in the Northwoods League , falling to the Wisconsin Woodchucks 7-4.

The biggest crowd of the season, 1,535 didn't see the home team win, but they did see former Brewer Jim Gantner, who manages the Woodchucks, get tossed in a hat throwing, dirt kicking tirade.

The Bullfrogs out hit Wisconsin 13-10, but committed six errors defensively.  Prior to last night's game, the Bullfrogs committed just 11 errors during the 15-game win streak.  Green Bay outscored its opponents 92-28 during that stretch.

Both teams play again tonight in Green Bay.
