Delavan shooting was a murder-suicide

June 13, 2007 By WRN Contributor

Delavan's police chief made it official this afternoon. It was a murder-suicide that killed six people last Saturday night at the home of the shooter's ex-girlfriend and police says 23-year-old Ambrosio Analco was the shooter. He was found dead in the apartment, along with his ex-girlfriend, their two baby boys, the woman's sister, and a family friend before turning the gun on himself. Police are still awaiting forensic evidence to confirm Analco was the shooter, but O'Neil says all law enforcement agencies are confident in their decision.

Police say Analco also shot the boys' 20-month-old sister. But she survived, and was in good condition Wednesday afternoon at a Madison hospital.
