Tucker goes in first round to Phoenix

June 29, 2007 By WRN Contributor

Alando Tucker Wisconsin's all-time leading scorer, forward Alando Tucker, is a first round NBA Draft pick.

Tucker was taken by the Phoenix Suns with the 29th overall pick in the first round.

Tucker had worked out for the Suns previously and there was strong speculation that they would use one of their picks on Tucker.

Tucker was named the Big Ten's Player of the Year as a senior, averaging just under 20 points a game.
