Amber Alert issued for four missing children

July 3, 2007 By WRN Contributor

An Amber Alert has been issued for four children missing from Middleton.
Amber Alert 7-3-07

Middleton Police Lieutenant Noel Kakuske says 17-year-old Dakota Klyve-Underkofler, 16-year-old Sierra Klyve-Underkofler, 13-year-old Storm Klyve-Underkofler, and 3-year-old Elle Underkofler were supposed to be returned to their mother yesterday, but were not. All four children have reddish-blonde hair and blue eyes. The youngest also has a birthmark on her nose.

They are believed to be with their father, 56-year-old Craig Underkofler of Middleton. He was last seen driving a blue-gray 2006 Kia Sorrento with a Wisconsin License Plate of “234 LRY.” They were last seen at an Ashland motel.

Kakuske says there is reason to be concerned over the safety of the children. Anyone who sees the vehicle is urged to call 911.

WIBA's Robin Colbert contributed to this report.
