Badgers get commitment from Illinois fullback

July 12, 2007 By WRN Contributor

Bret Bielema has added to his 2008 recruiting class.  6'1, 220 pound fullback Dex Jones from Lombard, Illinois, has committed to Bielema's 2008  Wisconsin Badger recruiting class.

Jones chose the Badgers over Illinois, who had been recruiting him as a linebacker.

Jones boasts good speed, running a 4.6 40-yard dash.  He averaged 5.8 yards per carry last season and ran for about 680 yards.  He's the 17th player that has committed to the Badgers 2008 class.
