Brewers Hammer D-Backs

July 20, 2007 By WRN Contributor

Tony Graffanino and Gabe Gross homered as the Brewers pounded Arizona 10-1 on Thursday afternoon at Miller Park.  Yovanni Gallardo threw six scoreless innings and gave up just two hits to pick up the win.  Matt Wise finished up the final three innings as the Brewers bullpen was allowed to rest.  San Francisco comes to Miller Park for a three game set this weekend.  Barry Bonds clubbed two homers on Thursday at Wrigley Field and is just two shy of Hank Aaron's all time mark of 755.

Ned Yost was happy his bullpen could rest. :11
