First baseman Prince Fielder, who will start at first base, is joined by Ben Sheets, J.J. Hardy and Francisco Cordero for the July 10th game at AT & T Park in San Francisco.
The Brewers last sent four players to an all-star game in 1983 when Cecil Cooper, Robin Yount, Ted Simmons and Ben Oglivie all played.
Fielder becomes the first Brewer voted in as a starter since 1988 when Paul Molitor was honored in that same capacity. He's the first Brewer to start in an all-star game since outfielder Jeromy Burnitz filled in for San Diego's Tony Gwynn in 1999.
Sheets, who improved to 10-3 on Sunday, will make his 3rd all-star appearance. His 10-wins currently are tied for the league lead.
Cordero is in for the second time. He leads the Majors with 27 saves. Hardy is in for the 1st time after homering 18 times and driving in 51 runs in the first half of the season.
