Brewers losing streak reaches 3

July 6, 2007 By WRN Contributor

The Milwaukee Brewers lost their 3rd straight, 6-3 to the Pittsburgh Pirates in Pittsburgh.  Adam Laroche homered twice to lead the Pirates, making a winner of Tom Gorzelanny (9-4).

Ben Sheets gave up a couple of home runs and took the loss, falling to 10-4.

Geoff Jenkins homered and Corey Hart ran his hitting streak to 21 straight games in the loss.  But the Brewers may have lost centerfielder Bill Hall indefinitely after he suffered an ankle injury while trying to make a spectacular catch as he climbed the center field wall.

The Brewers lead on the Chicago Cubs atop the NL Central is now down to 4 1/2 games.  They'll wrap up the road trip with a weekend series in Washington D.C. against the Nationals.
