Brewers send Hall to DL

July 6, 2007 By WRN Contributor

The Milwaukee Brewers placed center fielder Bill Hall on the 15-day disabled list with a high ankle sprain.

Hall injured the ankle trying to take a home run away going high on the centerfield wall during Thursday's loss to the Pittsburgh Pirates.

The Brewers recalled centerfielder Tony Gwynn Jr., from Triple (A) Nashville to fill Hall's roster spot.
