Brewers Win Again

July 17, 2007 By WRN Contributor

The Brewers edged the Arizona Diamondbacks 4-3 on Monday night at Miller Park.  The D-Backs Chris Young led off the game with a solo blast off of starter Dave Bush, but Corey Hart led off the bottom of the 1st with a solo shot of his own to even the score.  Two batters later, Ryan Braun hit a towering 2-run blast that gave Milwaukee the lead.  Prince Fielder's RBI double in the 5th was all the Brewers would need to get Bush the win.  Bush pitched 6 innings, giving up just 3 solo homers to notch the victory.  The bullpen was perfect last night and it was capped off by Francisco Cordero striking out the side in the 9th for his 29th save of the season.  The series will continue tonight.

Dave Bush appreciated the early offense from his club last night. :11
