Diener Inks Deal

Fond du Lac native Travis Diener signed a 3-year, $4.9 million dollar contract witht the Indiana Pacers on Monday.  The 3rd year of the guaranteed deal is a player option.  The former Marquette star will backup Jamaal Tinsley after spending his first two NBA seasons buried on the Orlando Magic bench after he was selected in the 2nd round of the 2005 draft.  Diener says that Indiana showed strong interest in him when he gradauted from Marquette and they give him a great opportunity to play.
