Final round of practice for U.S. Senior Open today

July 4, 2007 By WRN Contributor

Straits Practice Range Today is the last chance for golfers to make those final preparations for the  start of the 2007 Men's U.S. Senior Open at Whistling Straits in Haven.  The four day championship starts on Thursday.

Spain's Seve Ballesteros, a three-time British Open Champion, withdrew from the tournament, citing an undisclosed injury.  Ballesteros has played in just one Champions Tour event this year.

The field will be made up of 156 golfers, including 2-time defending champion Allen Doyle.  Scattered showers are in the forecast both today and tomorrow.
